yeah, i found grade school terrible if i wasn't interested in the subject; great if i was. that is my autism talking. luckily i did well in college because i liked my area of study a lot overall.

with autism and school/learning, i'm either very interested or not at all. i wish my high school had been a lot more specialized rather than teaching me useless crap i didn't need to know.
